Vilenskii Aleksandr Viktorovich, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Chief Editor of "Economics: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" Journal.

Graduated from Economics Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1977; economist, lecturer.

Main place of work: Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Head of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Sector, Chief Researcher.

Part-time Work: Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance, RANEPA.

Research Interests: Studying the formation of market economic structures problems; interregional cooperation and the formation of a single market economic and financial space in Russia; the study of economic risks. A.V. Vilenskii was one of the authors of many federal and regional programs to support small businesses, participated in the World Bank, USAID and TACIS research projects on the Russian economy concerning social and economic development of regions and small businesses.

Professional Interests: Regional economy, entrepreneurship, government regulation of the economy.

Research Papers: more than 300 works (monographs, textbooks, manuals, including ones with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation).
